Race Preview Clinics:

All of the races in our series have a preview clinic in the weeks leading up to the race. Each of these clinics is hosted by either a USAT certified coach or pro triathlete that is familiar with the course. Beginner triathletes and experienced athletes alike will benefit from this opportunity to preview the course with an experienced racer!

*All clinics are held at the race site from 7:30 AM-10:30 AM.Dates and coaches will be published in February.

Series Scoring:

This series features series scoring and awards for age group and overall series winners! Here's how the scoring works:

At each race the overall winners (male and female) will be assigned 1,000 points. All other athletes points will be calculated by taking the winning time/your time*1,000.

For those non-math majors out there - here's an example: Will B Goodbiker wins Lake Mills with a time of 60 minutes on the nose. Will gets 1,000 points. Bob A Fastrunner comes in second with a time of 61 minutes on the nose. We would take (60 minutes/61 minutes)*1,000 = 983.6, so Bob gets 983.6 points. We'll tally those points up for 4 of the 6 races in the series, and the person with the most overall points wins. To help you track your points, we've contracted with Athlinks, a site that collects and tracks race results. Click on their logo on the left to check out their website, create a profile and check out your results today! If you've ever run a race, we bet you're in there!
