6 Legged Race
Have you ever been the human to hold a dog's leash while their person runs a race? If so, you've seen what happens when the person runs by - the dog strains at their leash saying "I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna GO" with every fiber of their four legged being. Being dog cohabitants ourselves, Race Day Events decided to produce the 6 Legged Race - a race where the dogs don't just watch, they get to RUN!
The 6 Legged Race is a 5K run/walk produced in conjunction with the Dogtoberfest, and a portion of proceeds will go to our charity rescue partner, Dane County Humane Society. Humans are encouraged to run with a dog, but it's not required. All dogs MUST be leashed AT ALL TIMES, NO EXCEPTIONS!
When: October 6, 9:30 AM
Where: Capital Brewery, Middleton, WI
Cost: $30 online from 4/01/2013-10/4/2013 11:59 PM. $35 on-site, race day registration. All participants will receive a Six Legged Race bandana for their dog and an entry to Dogtoberfest by presenting their bib at the entrance. All prices include WI sales tax.
